Geboren am 01.03.1852 als Bertha Emma Wilhelmina Ehreke (Schreibweise auch Ehrecke), vermutlich in Wolmirstedt.
Seit 16.09.1884 verheiratet mit Udo Hermann, Kaufmann aus Quedlinburg.
Zusammen haben sie zwei Söhne: Kurt Gremler und Emil Gremler (19.02.1886-20.07.1915), die in Wolmirstedt geboren werden. Später verzieht die Familie nach Brandenburg an der Havel. 1915 zieht die Familie nach Jastrow in die Provinz Westpreußen. Nach dem Kriege kehrt Bertha mit ihrem Mann und dem Sohn Kurt nach Quedlinburg zurück. Der Sohn Emil fällt im Krieg 1915 in Russland.
