Description

Der bekannte Filmschauspieler wurde als Rudolf Antonius Heinrich Platte am 12. Februar 1904 in Hörde geboren.
Er starb am 18. Dezember 1984 in Berlin.

Rudolf Platte besuchte seine Geburtstadt so oft er konnte. 1980 wurde er zum Ehrenbraumeister der Stiftsbrauerei ernannt und erhielt den Ehrenring der Stadt Dortmund

Das Bild hat der in Frankfurt geborene Walter Muth (* 26.03.1920; † 22.01.2010 in Frankenberg) gemalt.

Rudolf Platte hat das Bild signiert und geschrieben: "Als ich dieses, mein Bild sah, fühlte ich mit Schrecken: diesem Maler kannst du nichts verheimlichen".

Mittlerweile gibt es in Hörde den Rudolf-Platte-Weg
