Alexandru II Ghica (1795-1862)

"Alexandru II or Alexandru D. Ghica (1 May 1796 – January 1862), a member of the Ghica family, was Prince of Wallachia from April 1834 to 7 October 1842 and later caimacam (regent) from July 1856 to October 1858.

He was son of Demetriu Ghica and Eufrosine Caradja. His father was son of Grigore III Ghica.
