A very eminent Dolls House Collector said, "This house dates c. 1850-60. It was possibly made by the carpenter employed on the estate of a wealthy family."..Among other things, the Collector especially liked the framing at the top of each room, which is reminiscent of the earlier Dolls Houses of the 1600 and 1700s...She was very interested in the rare clear glass ring chandelier in the (With) drawing room, which was probably made in Germany at Lauscha.....A children’s storybook, written by a well-known stage decor and costume designer and a children’s stories author; illustrated by drawings and photographs of dolls and other playthings.
