Pikachu is a yellow mouse-like Pokémon with powerful electrical abilities. In most vocalized appearances, including the anime and certain video games, it is primarily voiced by Ikue Ōtani. A Pikachu also appeared in the main cast of the live-action animated film Pokémon Detective Pikachu, played in CGI and voiced by Ryan Reynolds, and it has also appeared in every entry of the Super Smash Bros. series, and the Katy Perry music video, "Electric".
