Otto Samuel Keibel (1768-1809)

"German jeweller, goldsmith, silversmith. Hallmark: Keibel or OSK in an ovolo. Born in the town of Pasewalk in Prussia (1768). Worked on imperial commissions, including a liturgical set endowed by the future Empress Maria Fyodorovna to the Dormition Cathedral in the Moscow Kremlin (1788). Opened a workshop in St Petersburg, where he made goldware and silverware in the Sentimental and Neoclassical styles (1797–1809). ...
