Worked on imperial commissions, including a liturgical set endowed by the future Empress Maria Fyodorovna to the Dormition Cathedral in the Moscow Kremlin (1788). Opened a workshop in St Petersburg, where he made goldware and silverware in the Sentimental and Neoclassical styles (1797–1809). ...
