VEB Schuhmaschinenbau Arnstadt

Am 1.1.1969 vereinigten sich der VEB Schuhmaschinenbau und er VEB Stanzmesser zum VEB Metallbau Arnstadt. Der VEB Metallbau betrachtete sich als Nachfolgefirma der Firma Ley, von der unter anderen das Firmenzeichen, sowie das Gründungsjahr 1856.
