August Köhler (1828-1899)

August Köhler war Leipziger Thomasschüler und Ober-Medizinalrat. Er gilt als Gründer der Turnerei in Bitterfeld. Köhler wurde am 3. Juli 1828 als Sohn des Korbmachermeisters J. K. C. Köhler geboren. Am 8. Februar 1899 verstarb Köhler in Mügeln.
