J. J. Ewer & Co.

Der Musikverlag J. J. Ewer & Co. wurde um 1823 von John J. Ewer in London, gegründet und bestand bis 1867 unter diesem Namen. Nach dem Ausscheiden von Ewer ging der Verlag 1839 an Edward Buxton über. Unter Buxtons Leitung erwarb J. J. Ewer & Co. das Urheberrechts für England an allen späteren Werken, die Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy komponierte.
