Altkolorierte Kupferstichlandkarte des niederländischen Verlegers und Kartografen Willem Janszoon Blaeu (1571-1638). Da er allerdings bereits 1638 verstarb, wurde das unvollendete Werk von seinem Sohn Joan Blaeu (1596-1673) bis zur Druckreife gebracht und im Namen des Vaters um 1641/42 in Amsterdam herausgegeben. In der Kartusche am rechten oberen Rand bezeichnet: WESTPHALIA DUCATUS Auctore Ioh. Gigante Medico et Mathematico. Unten links bezeichnet: Guiljemus Blaeuw excudit. Auf der Umseite mit lateinischer Beschreibung. Das Doppelblatt entstammt dem Werk "Novus Atlas", Amsterda 1641/42.
