Vorderseite ist eine patriotische Karte, mit Eisernen Kreuz, Eichenlaub und den Spruch "Fest und Getreu".

Geschrieben wurde sie, offenbar in Hektik, von Josef Simons aus den 1. P. Königlichen Reserver-Lazarett V in Tier an Otto Simons in Bodendorf/Ahr. Josef Simons war Sanitäter im Lazarett.

Frankiert ist die Karte mit einer 5 Pfennig Jugendstil-Briefmarke
