Description

Aurelios Psas, Sohn des Menas und der Thaes... , aus Thynis schließt in Hermupolis einen Vertrag mit Aurelios Kyros, Sohn des Phoibammon: Weil Psas seine Tochter aufgrund seiner Armut nicht ernähren kann, gibt er sie in die Obhut des Kyros, für den sie nicht näher erkennbare Arbeiten ausführen wird. Psas verpflichtet sich insbesondere, seine Tochter nicht vorzeitig wieder mitzunehmen. Geldzahlungen sind nicht erkennbar; eventuell arbeitet die Tochter für Psas ein Darlehen ab.

μετὰ τὴν ὑπατείαν Φλαυίου Βασιλείου τοῦ ἐνδοξοτάτου ἔτους εἰκοστοῦ, Ἐπεὶφ κα, δεκάτης ἰνδικτίονος. Αὐρηλίῳ Κ τῷ θαυμασιωτάτῳ υἱῷ Φοιβάμμωνος ἀπὸ ταύτης τῆς Ἑρμοῦ πόλεως Αὐρήλιος Ψᾶς υἱὸς Μηνᾶ μητρὸς Θαήσι ὁρμώμενος μὲν ἀπὸ κώμης Θύνεως τοῦ Ἑρμουπολίτου νομοῦ, τὸ νῦν δὲ εὑρεθεὶς καὶ διάγων ἐνταῦθα ἐπὶ τῆς αὐτῆς Ἑρμουπολιτῶν τῆς ποιήσεως ἕνεκα ταύτης τῆς ὁμολογίας, χαίρειν. ὁμολογῶ ἐγὼ ὁ προειρημένος Ψᾶς διὰ ταύτης μου τῆς ἐγγράφου ἀσφαλείας τὰ ἑξῆς ὑποτεταγμένα ειππεπτωκὼς καὶ μὴ δυνηθεὶς θρέψαι ἐμαυτόν τε καὶ προσήγαγον τῇ σῇ θαυμασιότητι ταύτην δεξ θρέψαι καὶ ἐνδῦσαι ἀντὶ τῆς ἐκτελουμένης ἐργασίας λων αἰτήσεων τοῦτο μὲν ποιεῖν ἔγγραφον ἀσφάλειαν παρʼ ἐμοῦ τοῦ μὴ αὐτητα ι αὐτὴν λαβεῖν καὶ ἑτέρῳ παρασχεῖν κτοχ
