Eingabe der Gemüsehändlerin Tarmuthis, Tochter des Phimon, an den Strategen des Herakleides-Bezirkes Apion wegen Diebstahls von Geld und Schmuck und die Zerstörung von Kleidung durch Taorsenuphis ihren Mann Ammonios alias Phimon. Den Schuldigen soll eine Geldstrafe auferlegt werden.

ἈπίωνιΣαραπίωνι στρατηγῷ Ἀρσινοίτου Ἡρακλείδου μερίδος παρὰ Ταρμούθιος τῆς Φίμωνος λαχανοπώλης ἀπὸ κώμης Βακχιάδος τὸ παρὸν μὴ ἔχουσα κύ ριον· τῇ δ τοῦ ἐνεσ τῶτος μηνὸς Φαρμοῦθι, ἁπλῶς μηδὲν ἔχουσα πρᾶγμα πρὸς ἐμὲ, Ταορσε νοῦφις, γυνὴ Ἀμμωνίου τοῦ καὶ Φίμωνος πρεσβυ τέρου κώμης Βακχιάδος ἐπελθοῦσα ἐν τῇτην οἰ κίᾳ μου ἄλογόν μοι ἄη δίαν συνεστήσατο καὶ περιέσχισέ μοι τὸν χι τῶνακιτῶνα καὶ τὸ πάλλιον οὐ μόνον, ἀλλὰ καὶ ἀπε νέγκατό μου ἐν τῇ ἀη δίᾳ ἅς εἶχον κειμέναςκιμένας ἀπὸ τιμῆς ὧν πέπρακον λαχάνων δραχμὰς ιϛ. καὶ τῇ ε τοῦ αὐτοῦ μηνὸς ἐπελθὼν ὁ ταύτης ἀνὴρ Ἀμμώνιος ὁ καὶ Φί μων εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν μου ὡς ζητῶν τὸν ἄνδρα μου ἄρας τὸν λυχνόν μου ἀνέβη εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν μου, ἀπενέγκατο εἶχονοἶχονοἰχόμενοσ κείμενονκίμενον ζεῦγος ψελλίων ἀργυρῶν ἀσήμου ὁλκῆς δραχμὰς μ, τοῦ ἀνδρός μου ὄν τοςὤντος ἐπὶ ξένης. διὸ ἀξιῶ ἀχθῆναιἀκθῆναι τοὺς ἐνκαλου μένους ἐπί σε πρὸς δέ ουσαν ἐπέξοδον. εὐτύχειεὐτύχι Ταρμοῦθις ὡς ἐτῶν λ, οὐλὴ ποδὶ δεξιῷ. ἔτους ιζ Αὐτοκράτορος Καίσαρος Νέρουα Τραιανοῦ Σεβαστοῦ Γερμανικοῦ Δακικοῦ.
