Description

Die Militärkarte zeigt die Schlacht bei Oudenaarde, die am 11.7.1708 während des Spanischen Erbfolgekrieges stattfand. Frankreich wurde hier von den Alliierten verheerend geschlagen. Die Karte wurde in französischer und niederländischer Sprache veröffentlicht. Unten rechts befindet sich eine Liste, die Auskunft über die Gefangenen aus der Schlacht gibt. Veröffentlicht wurde die Karte im Verlag von Nicolaes Visscher.
