Dieser Abschnitt einer handgeflochtenen Bastborte diente als Warenmuster. Dessen um 1900 übliche Bezeichnung lautete "Siebenhalm - Bastbuskeln". Als Material wurden sieben Streifen aus naturfarbenem gehobelten Bast von Aspenholz in der Breite eines siebenfach gespaltenen Strohhalms verwendet (siehe III 57.9.1). Diese Flechtborte gehört zu insgesamt 88 Proben auf 12 Musterkarten, die sich im Dohnaer Museum befinden.
