Die Gottschalks kamen etwa 1900 nach Bodendorf und kauften von der jüdischen Familie Friedsam die Metzgerei und Ländereien. Bis zur Deportation ins Konzentrationslager Theresienstadt arbeiteten und lebten sie in Bodendorf.
