Das 1938 erschiene Buch von Dr. Willmar Schwabe, Leipzig "Leitfaden für die biologische Praxis unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Homöotherapie" in der Auflage von 1941 trägt mehrfach den Stempel der "Apotheke Dohna / Hans Schmidt". Hans Schmidt war von 1919-1949 der langjährige Inhaber. Diverse Publikationen zur Homöopathie im Bestand der Dohnaer Apotheke verweisen auf die Beschäftigung mit dieser alternativen Behandlungsmethode.
