Die Einbindeahle ist mit einem Öhr vorn an der Spitze versehen. Die Öffnung des Öhrs ist länglich. Die Ahle wurde genutzt um Löcher in bestimmte Gegenstände zu stechen oder vorhandene zu erweitern. Mit Hilfre des Öhrs kann ein Faden o.ä. durch das Loch im Leder gezogen werden. Die Einbindeahle wurde in der Sattlerei genutzt. Das Metallstück und der Holzgriff sind durch eine Heftzwinge miteinander verbunden.
