Fragment einer modelgeformten Stuckplatte mit Darstellung eines bärtigen sasanidischen Großkönigs mit von Sonne und Mondsichel bekrönter Kompositkrone, Federschmuck und Ohrringen. Die das Gesicht frontal präsentierende Figur dürfte sich entsprechend erhaltener Vergleichsstücke nach heraldisch rechts gewandt haben. Einen Bogen spannend wird der König in eine Jagd- oder Kampfszenerie eingebunden und reitend dargestellt gewesen sein. Die wohl rechteckige geformte Platte war Bestandteil einer Raumausstattung mit Stuckfliesen als Wandverkleidung. Das Stück wurde im Kunsthandel erworben und stammt wohl aus dem Ktesiphongebiet.
