Die beiden Gefäße besitzen einen sandfarbenen Scherben. Das Schwämmeldekor ist in den Farben Rotbraun und Blau aufgetragen. Bunzlauer Keramik mit diesem Dekor erhielt 1905 auf der Weltausstellung in London die Goldmedaille für cadmium- und bleifreies Geschirr. Mit seiner Temperaturwechselbeständigkeit war derartiges Geschirr nicht nur in Deutschland beliebt.
