Die verschraubbare dreiteilige Zäpfchenpresse aus Stahlguss ist auf eine einfache Sperrholzplatte montiert. Im Inneren gibt es sechs Zapfenlöcher mit drei einsteckbaren Suppositorien. Die Zäpfchenformen werden mit Hilfe der Zäpfchenpresse fest verschraubt. Das Suppositorium (dt. Zäpfchen) ist eine Arzneiform, die zur rektalen oder vaginalen Gabe von Medikamenten verwendet wird. Es hat typischerweise die Form eines vorne zugespitzten Torpedos, der das Einführen in enge Körperöffnungen erleichtert.
