Beide Enden dieses u-förmig gebogenen Rasotherm-Borsilicatglases sind mit geschliffenen Schalenflanschen versehen. Am Flanschwulst sind noch die Gummiringe für die Druckverteilung der Flanschringe vorhanden. Das Rohr trägt den eingeätzten Markennamen 'Rasotherm', der 1950 von den VEB Jenaer Glaswerk Schott & Genossen für dieses technische Spezialglas eingeführt wurde.
