Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen im Garten des Grand Hôtel et Hôtel des Alpes in Territet bei Montreux. Der Garten ist leicht mit Schnee bedeckt. Hinter Herrn Röntgen ist die Gartenfassade des Hôtel des Alpes vor dem späteren Umbau zu sehen. Charakteristisch sind die geschwungenen Doppelkamine auf dem Dach und die hölzerne Giebelverzierung. Links ist ein Mast der Oberleitung der Straßenbahn Vevey–Montreux–Chillon (VMC) zu sehen. Das Bild wurde wohl von seiner Pflegetochter Josephine Bertha Ludwig aufgenommen.
