The bead is round biconical and somewhat flattened near the holes. It is soldered from two halves and is hollow inside. The edge of the solder is not visible. Along with 86 similar beads, as well as cylindrical and spherical pendants, this bead was part of the neck decoration.
Similar beads were widely distributed in the territory of the Northern Black Sea region, both in Hellenic and Scythian-Sarmatian burials, and in the territory of the Hellenic Oikumena. Similar beads are known for Anatolian, Greek and North African memorials.
