In Jahr 1986 musste der Mühlenhof an der Erftstraße in Kerpen-Sindorf für den Bau der Autobahn A 61 weichen. Der Widerstand des Landwirts war erfolglos. Der Film „Alter Bauernhof ohne Chance“ von Jürgen Stäcker zeigt die bewegende Geschichte der Familie und des alten Bauerhofs.
