Es handelt sich um eine Güterzugtenderlokomotive der Gattung T 14 der preußischen Staatsbahn. Sie erhielt die Nummer "Erfurt 8526". Bei der Deutschen Reichsbahn wurde sie in die Baureihe 93 einsortiert und erhielt die Nummer 93 230. Sie wurde am 28.10.1968 ausgemustert und in die Fahrzeugliste der Deutschen Reichsbahn aufgenommen und dem Verkehrsmuseum Dresden zugeschlagen.
