Description

Ölgemälde auf Leinwand, auf rechteckigen Lattenrahmen aufgespannt, in vergoldetem, profiliertem, Holzrahmen. Jüngere Dame mit hochgesteckter Lockenfrisur, in schwarzem Kleid mit hellem Spitzenkragen, trägt Perlenkette mit ovalem Anhänger.

Rückseitig per Hand beschriftet: "Joh. Schlesinger pinx. 1828". Außerdem alter Tintenschriftzettel aufgeklebt: "Maria Eva Kinkel geborene Weppelmann, geb. 22. August 1791/ Kaub a. Rh., gest. 30. September 1853 Mannheim".

Gemalt von Johann Schlesinger aus Ebertsheim, später ansässig in Sausenheim (1768-1840), Bruder des Malers Johann Adam Schlesinger.

Käuflich erworben durch den Altertumsverein Grünstadt, für das Museum Grünstadt.
