Description

The VT520 is a terminal from Digital Equipment Corporation's (DEC) VT series that was released in September 1993. However, this particular terminal was manufactured in Taiwan in November 1995.
The VT520's screen is 14 inches, has a refresh rate of 72 Hz and offers a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
The terminal has 972 memory bytes and a 10,000 byte macro buffer, which makes it easier to process and store commands and data.
A special feature of the VT520 is its ability to run four different sessions at the same time, unlike the VT510.
The VT520's serial port is an RS-232C port that allows a maximum transfer rate of 115.2 KB/s.
The VT520 terminal is versatile as it can emulate various terminals.
