Dieser zylindrische Topf ist aus hellgrauem und glasiertem Steinzeug gefertigt. Auf der Wandung ist eingestempelt zu lesen "Sahm's gesetzl. gescht. 3/4 L. Einkochkrug D.R.G.M.". Es handelt sich um ein Gefäß zum Einkochen bzw. Einwecken. Dazu wurde es vermutlich mit einem (Glas-?) Deckel und einem Gummiring verschlossen, wie sie bei den handelsüblichen Rillengläsern verwendet wurden. Die Marke "Sahm's" wurde um 1919 von einer Firma im Westerwald entwickelt. Firmengründer ist vermutlich Eugen Sahm.
