Das Festnetztelefon FeTAp 911 von 1987 löste die Fernsprechapparate mit Wählscheibe endgültig ab. Versehen mit dem Kurzwahlblock KTB 91 (Speichertaste → und Wahlwiederholung 00), funktionierte dieser allerdings wie die Wählscheibe, das heißt noch nach dem Impulsverfahren, das erst Anfang der 1990er Jahre flächendeckend durch das Mehrfrequenzverfahren ersetzt wurde. Welcher Hersteller dieses Gerät gebaut hat ist leider von außen nicht feststellbar. Sicher ist, dass die Bundespost Aufträge an alle namhaften Hersteller in Deutschland vergeben hat.
