Text u.l.: nach der Natur gez. am St. Peters Feste in Rom 1820 u.M.: Ein spanischer Pilger u.r.: JAKlein f. 1835 im Verlag von Klein in Nürnberg Das Bild stammt von Johann Adam Klein (* 24. November 1792 in Nürnberg; † 21. Mai 1875 in München), einem deutschen Maler und Kupferstecher des Biedermeiers. Auf dem Bild ist ein Pilger dargestellt. Seine Kutte ist mit Muscheln geschmückt. An seinem Gürtel hängen ein Kreuz und eine Flasche. In der rechten Hand hält er einen Wanderstab auf dem oben ein Kreuz angebracht ist. Im Hintergrund ist das Meer zu sehen.
