The plaque is square with a relief image of a lying griffin. The body of the fantastic creature is depicted schematically and with a very high degree of stylization. The head is lowered, while the maw, similar to a bird's beak, is wide open; a large round eye is emphasized by a ridge. The head has ears, a horn-like protrusion and a comb descending to the neck. The transition from the muzzle to the neck is emphasized with two strokes. The creature seems to fall on its slender front legs. The hind legs are tucked in and a spiral wing with a zigzag outer edge is twisted behind the animal's back. The raised tail curls. On the edge there is a relief frame.
