Description

Dieses Tuch wurde 1975 anlässlich des 30jährigen Bestehens der Deutschen Volkspolizei (DVP) für die VP-Inspektion Berlin-Pankow gefertigt. Diese befand sich seit 1945 in der Berliner Straße 16 ganz in der Nähe des S-Bahnhofs Pankow. Nach 1990 wurde die Polizeidienststelle geschlossen und das Gebäude anschließend saniert. Heute befinden sich hier u. a. ein Restaurant und eine Bar.

Auf dem Wimpel sind Gebäude rund um den Alexanderplatz abgebildet: der Fernsehturm, das Rote Rathaus, das Interhotel "Stadt Berlin", die Kongresshalle und das Haus des Lehrers.
