Die Innenseiten sind gepolstert und abgesteppt. Auf die schwarze Decksohle wurde das Label „REDLEAF | HAND MADE | MADE IN ENGLAND EXPRESSLY FOR | John Wanamaker Co. | PHILADELPHIA" genäht. Die Laufsohle aus schwarzem Glattleder ist abgenutzt, der Absatz genagelt. Aufgedruckt ist „Made in England", eingeprägt die Größe 9D. John Wanamaker (1838−1922 Philadelphia) war ein erfolgreicher US-amerikanischer Kaufmann. Er gilt als der Vater der modernen Werbung. Der Slipper wurde vermutlich von Redleaf für dessen Verkaufsunternehmen produziert.
