Diese Sandale gehört zu einem paar von braunen ledernen Sandalen im Stadtmuseum Menden. Sie wurden diesem vom Kapitän Hermann Cordier geschenkt. Auf der vorderen Schuhkappe befinden sich gestickte bunte Musterungen. Auch auf der Schuhlasche erkennt man ein rotes geschwungenes Muster. Die Sohle gleicht von unten einem schwarz-weißem Fell. Laut Cordier sind es Sandalen von der indigenen Bevölkerung Amerikas.
