Bei diesem Objekt handelt es sich um einen Wimpel des VEB Walzwerkes Finow. Nach dem Krieg handelte es sich hierbei um einen komplett demontierten Betrieb der metallurgischen Industrie im Eberswalder Tal der sich zum leistungsstarken Walzwerk der zweiten Verarbeitungsstufe entwickelte. Die Produktpalette war DDR typisch sehr breit aufgestellt. Ende der 1980er Jahre waren 2300 Beschäftigte angestellt. Das Walzwerk erhielt den vaterländischen Verdienst-Orden in Gold.
