Die Rolle gelber KABIS-Strohhutzwirn trägt zwei auf die Holzspule aufgeklebte Etiketten, die über die Materialqualität und den Hersteller des Strohhutzwirns informieren: Oben "Kabis ZW / 3-fach Strohhutzwirn / 60", Unterseite "Zwirnerei und Nähfadenfabrik / Erwin Kabis GmbH / Oederan / Vollmass 2000 Meter". Solche Rollen gefärbten Zwirns wurden für die Herstellung der Strohhüte mit Nähmaschinen verwendet.
