Das Simmer ist ein rundes Holzgefäß (Hohlmaß) für Getreide. Von außen ist es mit Eisen beschlagen. An den Seiten befindet sich je ein Haltegriff. Dieses Simmer wurde im 19. Jahrhundert im Hunsrück genutzt.
