Das Handsprechfunkgerät HF 13/12 Mark II hatte eine Rauschsperre und konnte auf 12 Kanälen (4 - 15) amplitudenmoduliert (AM) senden und empfangen. Die eingebaute Antenne erreichte im ausgezogenen Zustand eine Länge von 1,42 Meter. Die rote LED auf der Front zeigte den Sende / Empfangszustand an. Ein Voltmeter, verriet den Batterie/Akku Zustand (voll = 12 Volt).
