Dank für Gleims positive Reaktion auf "Schubarts Karakter von seinem Sohne Ludwig Schubart" Erlangen 1798. Ludwig Schubart schickt ein gebundenes Exemplar mit Widmung für die Familienbibliothek, ebenfalls die Kompositionen von Gleims Kriegsliedern, mit denen Schubart bis zu seinem Tode Begeisterung für Friedrich II. entflammt hat.
