Description

Das Ölgemälde stellt das Berliner Tor, eines der 3 Stadttore der mittelalterlichen Wehranlage Templins, dar. Das Bild wurde 1953, noch vor der Eröffnung des Kreisheimatmuseums, von dessen damaligem Direktor in Auftrag gegeben. Das Tor ist aus süd-östlicher Richtung dargestellt, so dass der Blick des Betrachters in Richtung Stadtzentrum geht. Das Bild ist von Wilhelm Wilcke signiert.
