Description

Das Abzeichen hat eine runde Form und wurde an Parteimitglieder nach einer 50 jährigen Mitgliedschaft in der SED vergeben.
In der Mitte ist eine rote Fahne zu sehen, die auf der linken Seite von Lorbeer umkränzt ist, dort steht eine "50". Auf der rechten Seite von dem Schriftzug steht: "Sozialistische Einheitspartei Deutschlands." Auf der Rückseite befindet sich eine Anstecknadel.
Das Abzeichen befindet sich in einer roten Schachtel.
