Description

Sammelbüchse besteht aus zwei Teilen. Der Sockel ist braun maseriert. Das zylindrische Behältnis (Büchse) wird am Boden von einem Messingring eingefaßt, mittig ist eine Applikation (Messing), die wohl einen Bienenkorb darstellt. Ein Einwurfschlitz und ein kugelrunder Knauf bilden den Abschluß des gewölbten Zylinders (Kalotte). Oberhalb des applizierten Bienenkorbs folgendes Spruchband: "Verein Bienenstock zu Mittweida". Darunter: "Gegründet den 19. Januar 1870 zur Unterstützung würdiger Armer". Im Boden ist ein kreisrunder Deckel, verschließbar.
