KFZ - Schild mit den schwarzen Buchstaben / Zahlen

auf weißem Hintergrund mit schwarzer Umrandung. Noch zu erkennen der grüne TÜV - Stempel sowie das Siegel des Kreises Halle. Das Kennzeichen gehörte zu einem weißen Kadett C Coupé, Fahrzeughalter war Stephan Germann.

Zum ersten Januar 1973 trat die Gebietsreform in Nordrhein - Westfalen in Kraft, sodas das KFZ-Kennzeichen "HW" für Halle (Westf.) noch bis Ende 1972 (ab 1956) amtlich vergeben wurde. Danach fand die Bezeichung "GT" im gesamten Kreis Gütersloh Verwendung.
