Description

Pele-Haar besteht aus dünnen Fäden vulkanischen Glases. Es entsteht bei basaltischen Vulkanausbrüchen aus der Lava, indem die Lava vom Winde verweht und in dünne, langgezogene "Haare" überführt wird. Aufgrund ihrer Form und ihrer goldenen Farbe, wird es auch nach der hawaiianischen Göttin "Pele" benannt, der Göttin des Feuers und der Vulkane.
Gefunden wurde dieses Objekt in der Nähe des Vulkans Kilauea, auf der Insel Hawaii, USA.
