Description

Anthophyllitasbest ist ein anorganisch, natürlich vorkommendes Ketten-Sillikat und gehört zur Gruppe der Amphibole.
Es besitzt einen schimmerndem, silbrig-grünem Glanz, sowie eine fasserige Foliation. Besonders die faserige Struktur ist bei diesem Objekt sehr gut ausgeprägt.

Dieses Gestein stammt aus einer Grube in Paakkila (Ostfinnland) und wird dem Präkambrium (Algonikum) zugeordnet.
Das Algonikum ist die jüngste chronostratische Einheit des Präkambrium. Somit ist es etwa 500-1000 Ma alt.
