Description

A Vígszínház 1896-ban épült, a bécsi Fellner és Helmer iroda tervei alapján.
A II. világháború utolsó napjaiban bombatalálat érte, ezután újra felépítve 1951-ben nyílt meg a Magyar Néphadsereg Színháza néven. Az eredeti nevét csak 1960-ban kapta vissza, 1974-től műemléki védettség alatt áll.
Az épületet 1994-ben, Siklós Mária és Schinagl Gábor építészek tervei alapján.
