Description

Das Gemälde zeigt eine belebte Straße. Es handelt sich um eine Ansicht der Straße "Altes Dorf" in Stendal vom Uenglinger Tor aus. Die Straße hat ihren Fluchtpunkt am rechten Bildrand. Das Haus ganz links steht im Gerüst. Auf der Straße sind viele Menschen und sogar mehrere Reiter unterwegs. Am rechten Bildrand sieht man noch die Ecke eines Hauses auf der anderen Straßenseite.

Unten rechts befindet sich die Signatur: W.S. 1881.
