In einem dichten Wald befindet sich von einem großen Baum überschattet, eine Wasserstelle. An dieser sitzen vor einem Felsen entspannt zwei nackte Frauen im Gespräch. das Blatt gibt die Gouache von Gessner seitenverkehert wieder.
