Description

Das mechanische Gerät aus Gusseisen wurde zum professionellen Schälen von Kartoffeln im ehemaligen Hotel "Deutsches Haus" an der Langen Straße in Halle/Westfelan eingesetzt. Hier haben Gesellschaften stattgefunden und Feriengäste genossen hier die "Sommerfrische".
An dem Spieß der fixierten Maschine wird die zu schälende Kartoffel befestigt und durch Drehbewegungen der Kurbel geschält. Das Gerät ist überwiegend blau und weist stellenweise Korrosionsschäden auf.
